Must Have Marketing Tools to Boost Your Digital Marketing

Marketing has changed a lot. And the whole shift is towards digital marketing. With the pace of the development keeping yourself aware of the latest developments, marketing tools, techniques, and productivity hacks are significant. Here, our team has researched a lot of marketing tools which can help you in boosting up your marketing and give you more ease, convenience, refined data for making better decisions, automation and much more.

Marketing Tools to Boost Up Digital Marketing

Here we are going to discuss the marketing tools which help you in automation.

Marketing Automation Tool

IFTTT (if this then that)

IFTTT can save you a lot of time by automating tasks across many online marketing platforms. The real value lies in the fact that you can automate across all marketing platforms that are out there, literally. For instance, you can set automatic tasks that save photos that you are tagged on Facebook to Dropbox. Customizations to IFTTT are practically endless.

Marketing Tools for Social Media Scheduling

Here we are going to discuss the marketing tools which help you in social media scheduling and saving your valuable time for other important marketing activities.

Leadsius

Bonus: It’s free! This marketing automation platform is free and offers many valuable tools. It’s definitely the best one on the market for social media management of small and medium companies. Newsletters, campaigns, web forms, landing pages and more. Try it out!

Hootsuite

If we’re talking about scheduling, Hootsuite must be front and centre of the discussion. Universally used, incredibly intuitive, and great at scheduling both individual posts and bulk upload, Hootsuite is unrivalled in popularity. If you aren’t already using it, the free plan allows 3 social profiles, scheduling and basic analytics. It’s a great marketing tool for social media management. A real time-saver!

Zoho

An established player in the scheduling marketplace, Zoho is also the engine room of many businesses’ social media. A key feature is SmartQ, the ability to queue posts at the time that your audiences are most likely to see them. Nifty, and certainly important when trying to target potential leads. Their free trial allows for basic features, but their standard package is competitively priced. However, my personal recommendation is to use Hootsuite instead of Zoho. Zoho Social has many issues, and at times it is buggy and fails to publish the scheduled posts on time mostly on Instagram and LinkedIn pages.

Postfity

Saving time on social media is crucial for scheduling platforms and social managers. Postfity helps to simplify managing your social presence. Their pricing structure is reasonable, and a free plan is available. Standout features include seamlessly publishing to multiple accounts, post ideas, team collaboration on social media and watermarks on images as standard!

It still has some bugs, like you can’t link your Twitter account with it right now. It throws an error when you try doing that. Second, it doesn’t allow you to schedule more than two posts. To use Instagram on postfity you will need to download the Instagram app on your mobile and give access to positfity to post on Instagram on your behalf. So, my advise is to go with HootSuite on a paid version because Hootsuite is more reliable and bug-free.

Later

Focused solely on Instagram, Later is the number 1 marketing platform for Instagram. Plan, schedule and publish Instagram posts, as well as useful tools to increase conversion rates and preview posts on your profile. A host of great features, it’s free for individuals and cheap for businesses. A must if you are using Instagram to sell to customers.

Buffer

“The smarter way to share social media”, Buffer is another all in one tool that lots of social media managers are using to save themselves time and money. Schedule, publish and analyse your tweets across multiple channels and at only $10 a month for their Awesome package, it’s a steal!

Zapier

Imagine signing in on one account and having everything covered; your social media accounts, your customers and more. Zapier can significantly reduce the time you are spending managing your social media presence and customers. From automated social media functions to increased control over your customer’s activity, everything can be done on Zapier. It is an amazing tool for every marketer.

Sprout Social

Sprout Social is a great social media tool that can help you in managing your online presence. It offers a lot of tools, analytical reports, and social media marketing features. If you are overbooked and have multiple accounts to handle, Sprout Social can definitely help.

Iconosquare

For performance tracking and scheduling of multiple Instagram accounts, Iconosquare is the best on the market. It has analytics with lots of metrics that help in tracking the overall performance of your Instagram account. You will know how many followers you gained or lost, which posts peaked among followers with likes and comments and many other useful tools.

MeetEdgar

Edgar is amazing for scheduling and updating several social media accounts across different social media channels. You can easily connect Facebook, Twitter, and your LinkedIn accounts and get a small view of the performance of the content on these channels. It has a lovely library too where you can store multiple status updates.

Optkit, the real-time behaviour triggered pop-up tool, can detect visitors leaving your website or reading, and display a pop-up. Having used this tool previously, we’ve seen the impact it can have on growing a mailing list and would recommend using the free version.

Optimizely

Optimizely is described as the easiest and most powerful solution for transforming customers’ experiences and is the gold standard in A/B testing on your site. Making changes to your site and seeing the impact these changes have can ensure that you are increasing your conversion goal constantly, making the most of your web presence. Highly recommended.

Interacting with customers in real-time whilst they are on your site is a great way to increase conversions. Answer questions, view analytics and guide people to where they need to be. Pure chat has a variety of packages, but their Just Chat package is only $15 a month. These guys are behind lots of the chat systems used by large brands.

Want to generate visits to your web page on a curated content? Who doesn’t? Sniply provides that by attaching a call to action to every piece of curated content you decide to publish. Attaching the call to action button is very simple. You just need to copy/paste the link that is generated by Sniply. Recommended.

If you want to amplify your content, Add This is an effective way of adding share buttons to actively engage your audience. The marketing tool works with mobile and plugs into WordPress which is a bonus. It’s a great way to prompt readers into sharing your content on their social platforms, but also has tools to suggest similar content or capture information.

A form of social media in its own right – SlideShare is an excellent way to magnify and increase your reach across an engaged audience. Take any presentation or slideshow you have done, or create one, and upload it to SlideShare. It’s relatively untapped, so it’s a brilliant way to build authority and generate traffic. Users search for topics, then watch your SlideShare on it. Highly recommended marketing tool for digital marketers.
